Our Story

Trailstar has been manufacturing and distributing quality dump trailers across the Midwest for over 40 years. Using the most advanced materials on the market, our trailers are built to last. Matter of fact, several of our trailers built in the 1980s are still on the road today. Our focus is on aluminum dump trailers, both frameless and frame type, that are most commonly used in bulk material transportation, farming, roadwork and construction.

Founded in 1980, Trailstar began its journey in Alliance, Ohio and quickly established itself as a leader in the dump trailer industry. Much like the trailers we produce, our history is full of toughness and strength. Following a brief shutdown in 2011 due to a shortage in demand, our relentless team worked day and night to put Trailstar back on the map. In 2013, the company opened its doors once again and reinvented itself to become the Trailstar we know and love today.

Fueled by our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service, Trailstar has remained among the best in class. Over the years, we have developed into much more than just a dump trailer manufacturer. We are a leader, we are a resource, and we are a family.

Quality

Trailstar’s premium dump trailers are expertly manufactured using a combination of cutting-edge technology and hands-on labor. Our team of skilled mechanics closely monitor each step of production, assuring every screw is tight and every part is snug. To further ensure quality, our trailers go through a comprehensive 120-point inspection and come with a 5-year pro-rated warranty on workmanship and quality.

Innovation

As a pioneer in the dump trailer industry, we know that more time on the road equals more money in our customers’ pockets, which is why we value innovation. Backed by our experienced engineers, veteran shop mechanics and skilled welders, we work tirelessly to find new and improved ways to operate. Our constant efforts to cut weight and increase durability, set us apart from the rest.
